National Emblem
Nepal’s emblem is very unique. It contains the flag of Nepal, Mt. Everest & green hills. Green hills symbolises the hills of Nepal. The male and female hand joining symbolises gender equality.
National Flag
The flag is a simplified combination of two single pennons. Its crimson red is the colour of the rhododendron, the country’s national flower. Red is also the sign of victory in war. The blue colour border symbolises peace. The flag’s emblems, the sun and the crescent moon, had human faces. They were removed to modernize the flag.

Food
Nepal don’t have any distinct food all the food habitat depends on regions. The food in Nepal is influenced by India and Tibetan style of cooking. For hungry traveller or trekkers Momos, steamed or fried, with chili sauce, curry or plain, in restaurants or at street stall, buffalo, Pulao etc are mostly recommended. The regular meal in Nepal is Dal (Lentil soup), Bhat (Bolied Rice), Tarkari (curry vegetables) complemented by achar (pickle). Meat Curry is very popular, it is saved only for special occasions.
Arts & Crafts
The gracious crafts and craving on doors and wooden decors. The wooden carvings and crafting are very popular in Nepal. The woodwork has been a part of Nepal. The work of beautiful carvings on temple, monasteries, palaces and residential since 12th Century. You can also see statue, window, doors are figures of mythological are being crafted on them.
Living Culture
Nepal has dominated by two main religions; Hinduism and Buddhism, its rich in multi-ethnic and multi-dimensional culture. Dashain or Dussherra is the longest and important festival celebrated here. The main festival of Nepal came from the Hindus.

  • By Air

    Nepal’s Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu is the main entry point for those who are arriving by air. Other airlines that serve the Airports here are Air Arabia, Air Asia X, Air China, Etihad Airlines, Fly Dubai, jet Airways, Malaysia Airlines, Oman Airlines, Qatar Airways, Silk Air and Thai Air. Flights are available from India, Bangkok, Hong Kong, Dubai and Kuala Lampur.
  • By Road

    A road trip is very common in Nepal. The crossing the border is 120 NPR and 50 NPR transportation permit. Make sure to keep all the recipiets since the y can ask at any checkpoints along the way.
  • By Rail

    The cargo and passenger trains operate between Sirsiya in southern Nepal and the Indian town of Raxaul. However, only Indians are allowed to cross border by rail.
